Letter From Our Recruitment Chair

Hello Potential New Members & family members!

Congratulations on your acceptance to UCSB! It’s an amazing accomplishment and you should all be beyond proud of yourselves for getting here! I still remember the day I received my acceptance letter and little did I know, some of the best experiences of my life were soon to come.

As I approach my senior year, I can’t help but reminisce on my time here at UCSB. These three years have gone by much quicker than I had hoped and the memories I’ve shared here will impact me forever. As I entered my freshman year, I didn’t know what the next couple of years would look like for me. I went through recruitment in hopes of finding a sense of home so far from my own – I found so much more than that. Joining Pi Beta Phi brought me my lifelong friends, an incredible support system, resources to succeed both professionally and socially, as well as opportunities to get involved in a wide scope of activities.

As I continue to reminisce on my most cherished moments here, I find that Pi Phi has been at the core of many of these memories. Thinking about graduating next spring and walking across the stage with my fellow sisters reminds me how I would never have made it this far without such an organization. As sad as I am to leave, I feel confident this school and Pi Phi have prepared me for whatever life has in store. Pi Phi has helped me excel both academically and professionally, as we continuously are awarded top GPA out of all Panhellenic sororities on campus. The women in this chapter never cease to amaze me with their accomplishments and I feel lucky and inspired everyday watching all of them grow. Regardless of what the future holds, I will continue to hold every sister, memory, and smile of Pi Beta Phi in my heart forever.

I cannot wait for you guys to experience the immense love I have for Pi Phi and UCSB! <3
